 This is a large site in a beautiful area of Holland, with lots of hook-ups and numerous water points. The facilities were good and clean with plenty of showers and toilets. The staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Although pensioners ourselves, there appeared to be plenty of facilities for children to enjoy themselves.
There are countless tracks and wide dirt roads on the doorstep to explore either on foot or bicycle. As keen birdwatchers we were delighted to find Black Woodpeckers close by. In fact, we had an excellent bird species count in the surrounding area.
Epe town, pleasantly clean like most Dutch towns, is a walkable distance from the campsite if you're reasonably fit with a range of good shops. Otherwise a few minutes drive away.
The only problem we had was the noise from a very large party of campers from a neighbouring area. This could probably have been resolved had we complained, but didn't want to feel like 'whinging Poms'. We spent nearly a week here, extending our initial stay despite the afore mentioned noise, and may well return in 2017 when we're due to visit Holland again. We would have no hesitation to recommend this site.
