 A lovely site with a lovely owner, who is happy to show you around. Went with a group of friends.
No bother using a gazebo to get together in the evening. Plenty of walking in the area for both humans and dogs.
Close to Stowmarket for shopping. Will be returning again for sure.

What a lovely little gem of a site, just a couple of minutes from the A14, west of Stowmarket.
A tight turn off the road but easy enough even with a large vehicle and twin wheeler.
Gate to site is padlocked at all times but upon confirmation of booking the code is supplied.
We were met by owner Eric who gave us the layout of the site.
Level pitches with 4 hardstands and EHU for all. Also several grass pitches and a rally field adjacent.
Plenty of standpipes, and a couple of grey water drains with CDP behind a wooden fence; all kept impeccably clean.
Recycling bins (if that's your thing) are in a wooden cabin. Also in there are many paperback books to borrow along with various 'place to visit' flyers. There is also a 'nature trail' with numbered boards along the way, these correspond to a leaflet in the cabin telling you what you can see at each location; quite a clever idea. Dogs are welcome but on a short lead in the camping area and on a long leash elsewhere - the nature trail also doubles as a nice dog walking area.
The railway line is fairly close, running along the bottom of the rally field, however whilst it was noticeable during the day, it didn't keep me awake at any time and after a day, I barely noticed it at all!
Only an hour from home for us and less for our friends so hoping to go back soon.
