 A bit crowded when we arrived due to three units "between houses" and some stored vans at the far end, but it soon reduced to three occupied units, which we understand is normal.
The central track is wide and the hardstandings well spaced. Friendly and helpful staff and interesting to see all the horse activity going on - they have seventy horses on site, at livery and for riding lessons. No noisy roads or railways etc nearby.
Plenty to do in Sherwood Forest, stately homes and local towns and villages, plus woodland walks from the site.
The grass was well maintained and the rubbish bin regularly emptied.
The toilets and showers looked clean, concrete floors (we use our own).
Phone and TV signal good, no wifi.
