Stayed here for three nights with friends. Quiet site next to the pub - we didn't try food there but had a pleasant drink inside. Easy access to the site.
A spacious field full of rabbits at night. The portacabin facilities (unisex toilets and a separate single shower) were very tired but adequate for a short stay.
Delightful cycle ride along quiet country lanes and by ways into Devizes. About a mile from the canal towpath.
Would return here again for a short stay.

I really like this small site behind a fine pub. The camping ground is a large mown field with EHUs, and is great for a bit of dog exercise. Footpaths are also available locally. The pub sells excellent food and fine ales, certainly aspects that pleased me. The locals were extremely friendly & chatty and made a big fuss of my collie who loved it. The staff were very amiable and obliging and made me feel welcome. The pub toilets are open although being in a camper they were not necessary. The town of Devizes is a couple of miles away if shops are needed. This is a very basic campsite but I feel they had everything I needed.

What a great little site. Set in a large field in a rural location. Alongside a good pub with Wadsworths beer from the barrel and good reasonably priced food.
Regretfully toilet access was only available when the pub is open but the new owners opened up at 7am for us as we wanted to get away early. Thanks!
A permanently open toilet would be a great advantage for tent dwellers!
I've not given a high rating for value for money. £10 per night for tents which is a bit rich for such few facilities in my opinion. A rebate scheme for people for campers who eat in the pub would be welcome!
Nonetheless, it's a good site and I'd visit again.

A great little site on level well drained ground in a small field adjacent to the pub in small village
Friendly landlord, tasty and reasonably price food from standard pub menu, excellent local brew (Wadworths of Devizes)
Good local walking / cycling, walked directly into Devizes from the site (30 mins walk)
A little more info about access / facilities would have been helpful i. E there is small shop but we were not told about it, also access to toilet not made clear
Overall a good find

This is a new site this year, just a field behind the pub with basic facilities and no hard standings but 5 EHU's. What a lovely spot on the edge of this charming little village. We did not eat in the pub but the food looked and smelt good and was reasonably priced. Cider was good as well. I hope they get the reward for the work that they have put in to get the site up and running. We will definitely be going back.
