We had to use the sat Nav. The approach road can be single lane only, no problem in a car but caravan or motor home best go to the town nearby then drive in
Very friendly lady at reception speaks perfect English.
The site is huge and spread out and pitches are all marked up neatly and the grass is so soft on bare feet and very well maintained
There is a lot here, bar, restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, indoor pool, sauna, steam room.
Zip wire and high season large water slides.
The time we here no rug rats so older people going down slides I understand why it was not open.
The site is really beautiful and green with so many plants and bushes.
An example sitting on the Resturant terrace, told it only year old, the views looks down on the pool through greenery. You think you are in a posh hotel not a campsite.
The food at the restaurant is French standard, meaning very yummy. Lot of Naturist campsite we go to are Dutch owned and are really lovely, there seems a subtle differences, food prepared by French is, well French. I would recommend the starters.
The indoor swimming pool with sauna and steam room again more like a posh hotel, everything seems of a high standard.
The owner Francois was every so friendly again speaking perfect English.
In the restaurant the waiter, a likeable character, think of the only one in the village Dav-ed, if you know you know.
In the pond there was a zip wire ride, more suited to teenagers but we had a go and it was fun the pond was quite warm to.
Around the site are chickens and a Parrot that makes a racket, as well as goats. These are not in your face but you need to look for them
Absolutely lovely site with owners who just genuine
We want to stay longer but had to go.

We visited at the beginning of September. The reception staff were outstanding, really friendly and chatty. We were told to go and have a look around and find a pitch that we liked, which we did in the top field and got set up. They were over a few minutes later to set the electric up for us and we were ready to go. We were pleased we had chosen the top field as there was very little sunshine at the bottom and quite a trek up the hill to the amenities, indoor pool, boules etc.
Water points were no problem as others have found and there were several British people on site as well as other nationalities, yes it is mainly a Dutch site but all were very friendly
The main problem that we had was the cockerel that started crowing at about 5 in the morning and didn't stop. There is supposed to be no noise till 8 but we and several others were all woken up by it
Overall we enjoyed the site but wouldn't go back until they have got rid of the early morning call, we want to relax not be woken every morning

In complete contrast to the previous review we found the staff here, particularly on reception, to be very friendly. The young lady who was usually on duty went beyond just the polite formalities to chat amiably in her very good English. Other staff, such as the chap who comes to your pitch to connect the electricity were also polite and helpful, even when busy.
We were given a list of available pitches and were able to wander around and pick one to our liking. Pitches on the top field seemed to have little shade and were not very clearly demarcated, but the area was spacious and open. They were particularly popular with motor homes. I didn't see many water points in this area, the only ones seemed to be at the sanitaire. On the lower field pitches were mostly around the perimeter, many along the little stream, and mostly under trees. It may have been the time of year, but there was a significant problem with flies on these pitches. Luckily we got a pitch (72) which was only partly under trees and we were not bothered by the flies so much. There are several sanitaire blocks, (though you may still have a longish walk to the nearest), which were always clean, with adequately hot water. The swimming pools are excellent, with quite exciting slides in the main one. (Keep your legs crossed!) There is also an indoor one with limited opening times.
For things to do away from the site, the market in Monflanquin is good, but not the biggest we have been to in France, and there are numerous chateaux and pretty villages to visit. There are several way-marked walking/cycling (VTT bikes recommended) routes from the site main access drive. They vary between 4 - 12km, partly forest tracks, part road. We cycled the 12km one to Chateau Biron - could possibly be muddy in wet weather. The flies were again bothersome. We also walked and cycled other routes using the excellent way marked routes.
We have used other naturist sites in the area, Le Couderc and Terme d'Astor, and would score Laborde at least equal to these. I hope we will be back!

My experience was very different to the previous reviewer on arrival we were greated by a very unfriendly lady owner not a good start ! The site is primarily for the Dutch very few notices in English only french and Dutch. Not a good site for Motorhomes very sloping, long leads required, very few water points.
The site shop was poorly stocked so make sure you have everything because the nearest supermarket is a good trek
We are experienced campers both naturist and textile but will not recommend or return to this site

This is an extremely well managed naturist campsite in SW France. It is situated right on the border of the Dordogne and Lot et Garonne regions in some of the finest wine growing regions of France.
The various washroom facilities are kept very clean even in the height of summer and the size of the site means that there is plenty of room for everyone. It is a countryside site and hence not a good place if you want access to the beach, although the coast could be reached in two hours or so therefore day trips are possible.
Domaine is a safe, quiet site where those new to naturism as well as experienced naturists can feel very comfortable and you will find it hard to move away !
There are several pools including a heated indoor one, two outdoor pools and water slides for the adventurous and free sauna /steam room. A welcoming and well stocked bar on site is a good place to meet and chat to others and the site owners arrange a number of activities in the summer months.
The site can accommodate caravans, tents, motorhomes and those not wanting to take their own outfits can rent one of the mobile homes on site which range from the simple to the very large and are all full equipped.
Dutch site owners have been here for over 20 years and each season make improvements to the site, and are very welcoming and helpful.
We have been regular visitors for 4 years now, and plan to return in August/ September 2014.
Check out their website and enjoy !
