 We chose this site as a convenient stopover on our way south for it's closeness to the A7, and so it proved. Just off of the peage and we found signs for it on the first roundabout. The site was about two miles away, though the final approach was interesting up through a wooded hillside but still well signed. Our caravan is 7 metres long and I think anything much larger wouldn't find it easy as the site is in the woods, and therefore the pitches are generally marked by pine trees. We choose a pitch with electric. The owners were very friendly and helpful and could speak good English. There is a small snack bar, a selection of local produce and bread and croissants could be ordered. They have recently installed some playground equipment, trampoline etc. The swimming pool is also new although not that big.
We stayed two nights and on our day off we did a little tour eastwards towards Mont Ventoux (the Beast of Provence) which can be seen from the campsite. It's a beautiful area, small villages and countless vineyards prevail. The site is not within easy walking distance of Bollene.
The toilet facilities were clean and tidy although not the newest, plenty of hot water.
I feel the owners are gradually upgrading the site as they've only been there for three years. It has a lovely peaceful atmosphere with a rustic feel and we could easily have stayed a few more days. We wouldn't hesitate in staying here again.
