Excellent, semi-wild camp site set in the dunes and right by the sea.
Very minimal facilities but the location is superb.
Great base for exploring Northumberland coast.

Great site by the dunes with direct access to beach.
Toilets closed in 2020, and adults only for this season. So tap, CDP but no EHU. Parking on upper ‘field’ for vans, lower level for tents. Sea views. £15 per night.
About a two mile walk to nearest shop. Bar and pizzas on site at weekends.

This is a lovely part of Northumberland with miles of good beaches and dunes.
Druridge Bay is worth a visit and it’s within easy driving distance to Alnwick and Morpeth.

The details for this site are out of date, they accept Campervan but not caravans or motorhomes, also dogs are welcomed. They have basic facilities including hot showers, composting loos and washing up areas, also CDP for your porta loo.
This is a unique and beautiful site with a short walk to 7 miles of sandy beach. Our pitch had open sea views one way and country views the other. It is £15 per night for 2 people.

This is a beautiful basic site. The location is excellent - where the tents camp is a skip, jump and hop to the beach. Cars are only allowed on the site to unpack/pack (you park a short distance away), so really children friendly.
The area around the camping area is left as grassland /dunes so lots of privacy and space. The toilets are composting toilets so basic (and I think there are 2 blocks of 2), but everyone respected the rules and all was well. The washing up facilities are very basic but adequate.
I would recommend this site for a short camping trip only. Lack of warm showers would prevent me from staying longer. I'm not sure how the site would fair in wet weather?

This campsite is new. In an excellent location. The pitches are well cared for. The facilities are basic - little more than enough to make wild camping a little more comfortable.
The site is small - and private - yet the proximity of the Dunes pitches made it seem busier than it needed to.
The facilities consisted of 4 modern portaloos (only 2 were open during most of our stay) and it did seem as though they needed emptying - and for us access to 2 basic but working showers.
The price of £20 per pitch was far too expensive in our view for the facilities offered.
Definitely we will come back to Northumbrian coast - its beautiful - but unlikely to return here.
