Good English spoken on arrival, pick your pitch. It was quiet when here so had plenty of choice.
Pitches were gravel and of reasonably good size.
Toilets and showers all good and clean. EHU is monitored, 5kwhs/day.
Gate always locked and fob available for easy access( €20 deposit). Outdoor pool, small games room.
Walk into Aguilas castle about 2mls, mostly on a prom, town appears mainly Spanish, cafes and bars were very reasonably priced.
Good value at €19 with ACSI discount card.

Visited this site many times it is fabulous, very clean, great staff all very very helpful ! one km walk into town this is a real gem, along with the location, beaches and sea views the whole thing works for us and the town of Aguilas is lovely and a very pleasant stroll along the promenade with lots of bars and restaurants offering good value for your money.

A very well kept site with gravel pitches, some of which are quite small, the toilets are spotlessly clean with very adequate facilities. The site is within cycling/walking distance of the town of Aguilas and a quiet beach is just a short walk away from the campsite gate whilst the sites own swimming pool is well laid out and equipped with plenty of sun loungers etc. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, good English was spoken, our pitch was at the rear of the site so road noise was minimal, we will visit again next year as we enjoyed our stay so much.

This is a fairly small site, very attractive and well-kept. The pitches are level, gravelled, but rather small - more suited to motor homes than caravans, although there are a few pitches big enough to accommodate a caravan plus car, or caravan plus awning, but not both.
Reception staff are friendly and helpful, and there is a small shop in reception. The bar/restaurant is not open in winter. The toilet block is clean and pleasant, although if all showers are in use at the same time there is some reduction in water pressure.
Washing up sinks are under cover and have plenty of hot water. There is a small games room with drinks machine, library and a few tables. There's a small swimming pool.
Aguilas is a pleasant resort with several beaches, a castle, rocky promontories and a marina. It's famous for its spectacular Carnival in February, which is the reason we visited.
The campsite is on a main road a couple of miles outside the town, but within a few minutes' walk of a quiet beach. Road noise is quite loud on some pitches, the ones toward the back of the site being quieter.
Wifi is available. ACSI charge is 16 euros a night.

This is one of the best sites that we have stayed at for many years. The toilets and showers were cleaned and inspected daily (actually nightly so no disruption was caused to campers), and all the facilities and grounds were spotless at all times.
The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly, as was the owner, Antonia, who hosted three parties during our winter stay, all at her expense. The paella day in particular was great fun and a way for us all to make new friends, if we wanted to.
A communal room was kept warm (at her expense again), with a good library, and was a place for evening socialising at no cost, we took our own drinks and sometimes a shared supper.
We will winter there again next year. I hope you stay away 'cos this is too good to share.
