Really dirty yurt. Covered in hairs, both beds full of it.

Showers broken in field we were in.

Road leading up to site is full of potholes, so go slowly!

Felton common is nice to walk around and the planes overhead would be great for kids.

Not ideal for late risers as very noisy from 6am.

Good Easter lunch at pub across from common.

Great no frills site off the beaten track. Hayley kindly allowed us to check-in early which was a bonus.

Assigned a big flat plot with electric (no. 9). All communications about the booking were clear.

Toilets and shower were spotlessly clean and the water lovely and hot. Although it's close to Bristol airport the noise was barely noticeable.

Easy access to the Common, which has spectacular views, from the site. Our dog enjoyed her many walks.

Will definitely return when we're down that way again.

Did not use washing-up facilities. Appreciated the recycling bins.

Great site. Owners were very welcoming and helpful.

The facilities were kept very clean and plenty of soap and paper refilled regularly.

Great views over the Mendips and chilled site. Great for viewing planes in the flight path for Bristol Airport. Some may look at this as a bad thing, however, we loved it!

Thanks to Steve and Haley, we had a great weekend. Cheers

Stayed for one night over the balloon festival weekend. Fairly easy to find as I checked route in advance but could easily drive past. Access road was very bumpy and the roads leading through the village are very narrow so just need to take it easy and keep it slow. Arrived Saturday lunchtime and called the mobile as advised on the gate, we were welcomed by the owner who was really helpful and had a chat about the area and our van. The site is just a field but is in a lovely location with a nice view and has plenty of room. We parked up, had some lunch and then headed to the festival. We arrived back at around 10pm parked up where there was a space and settled in for the night as had an early start for the balloons the next morning. It was very quiet even though people were coming back from the festival, the planes at the nearby airport were running until 11 and started again around 6 as we were leaving, this didn't bother us, we love to watch the planes take off and land. Hook up was available and we did book that but as there was so much space in the field we chose not to use it and park where we wanted. Great location for Bath/Bristol, pub nearby (didn't try it). Would use this site again if in the area as it was very relaxed, just what we needed

A good little campsite well situated for Bristol and Bath. Nice walks and fishing at nearby Chew valley Lake. We really enjoyed are stay and can toughly recommend this charming site to caravans and motorhome's. There are no toilets so you will have to use your on bored facilities. There is a near by shop and garage in the Village of Winford.
