First of all the owners are lovely, couldn’t have been more helpful. It is a well laid out little site with gravel hardstanding pitches, grass a bit soggy but that is the season. Nothing is very far from your pitch. Electric hookup is supplied by a meter which takes £1 & £2 coins, we had our heating on low as it was quite cold weather, used approx £6 for 24 hours. The shower room has a toilet and there is another separate toilet, all in a portacabin, there isn’t any heating in the portacabin. WiFi is available, small charge. We walked to the pub, The Star, excellent steak and accompaniments, perfectly cooked, cosy wood burners, warm welcome. There is another pub in the village both 15 minute walk.

A lovely, quiet, peaceful site. Unisex toilets and showers are in a 'purpose built portakabin' well thought out and very clean. The location is good only 20 minutes drive to Hunmanby Gap, Dog friendly beech and a fantastic Beech cafe

The best CL we have ever stayed on by a country mile. Beautifully kept by the warmest, friendliest owners imaginable. Very well equipped for a CL with a unisex toilet and shower plus recycling bins and of course reliable 16a hook-ups. The location is very secluded (don't expect a supermarket on your doorstep) but still handy for Pickering, Dalby Forest and of course your East Coast Yorkshire resorts. There are 2 lovely looking pubs about a 10 minute walk away but we didn't manage to sample the delights therein so can't comment (maybe next time, and believe me there will be a next time!)I'm a bit loathed to submit this review, I'd like to keep this particular jewel to myself!

A lovely, quiet, peaceful site. Two toilets and a shower in a 'portakabin' very clean and well maintained. The site is slightly sloping with mown grass and hard standings. There are two pubs within 15minutes easy walk, both serving food. Twenty minutes drive to east coast resorts or York. Look forward to a warm welcome.
