Easy access from the new M55 junction.
Very quiet and peaceful location.
Spacious pitches and a lovely toilet building on site.
Smiths Arms, good food, is a 2 minute drive away, no footpath pavement en route for the first minute.
Will be back

A lovely location, very secluded and quiet. Large pitches with plenty of room for full awning and car. All pitches are hardstanding. Electrical hook up on all pitches 16A supply. The toilet facilities are basic but perfectly adequate and are kept clean. The owner, a lady called Celia is very helpful. The site is in the same location, albeit in a separate field as Brylea caravan park, which is owned by her daughter. So a lovely rural location and at a much lower price. This is a Caravan Club site and you will have to show membership which is fair enough.
Lots of nice walks nearby and handly for visiting all the North west including Preston and the Marina, Lytham, Blackpool, Cleveleys plus many more excellent rural villages and towns.
There are no access problems to enter this site and it is excellent value for money.
Nearby there are two pubs with dining facilities, a lovely walk to both. The Saddle and ( 20 mins stroll)the Smiths Arms (30 mins stroll)also within a five minute drive is the Pig and Whistle, on Blackpool Road which does a excellent carvery at a great price.
Nearby about 15 mins drive are numerous stores to stock up on provisions for your stay, there is an Asda and again a Morrisons only a short drive away. This site is local to me and despite the lack of reviews is very popular site and worth while booking in advance at the week-end.
Location wise hard to beat.
