Great Location, Lovely Owners, Rubbish Weather. The last bit didn't stop us enjoying our stay however. First time we had used blocks of wood to level our van as we are novice caravanners but they were lying around to be used so no trouble. The suckler cows and calves in the field behind thought it interesting too. Water tap was nearby and we used the Elsan Point (aka the toilet) instead of our on board one. Grey waste disposal nearby too.
Electricity is on a prepaid card meter, we soon learned to turn off the hot water overnight which we had forgotten to do at previous places! Not expensive once we had sussed that out.
We had intended to fish but the weather was too rough. The pool however is very close and looks good.
Visited nearby Little Moreton Hall, a beautiful if wonky Tudor mansion and thoroughly enjoyed it.
We are planning to go back to the site for a couple of nights after our visit to Witney in August, fingers crossed that it will be fishing and Barbeque weather then.

This recently opened 5 van site is a little gem in the most idyllic spot. It is a Caravan and Camping Club certificated site so also accepts tents. It is within a 100 yards of Knypersley Reservoir providing lovely walks around the lake with an abundance of birds and wildlife. We came for a few days and ended up staying a fortnight. The owners are lovely people and very friendly. Electric is provided on a meter and we found it costs around £1. 00 a night with the camping fees around £10. 00 to £12. 00 depending on your unit and the time of year. Excellent value for money. The views from all the pitches are lovely over the rolling countryside with glimpses of the nearby lake. The field slopes away from the pitches so levelling blocks or ramps are required but there are a few more level spots at the top end of the field. We didn't find this to be too much of a problem. Plenty to do in the immediate area and some nice pubs that do bar meals. A great place, just don't tell everyone!

This campsite is set in a beautiful part of North Staffordshire. Campsite is in a very peaceful quiet location. The area is not an usually tourist area don't know why not as it is a place to visit.

The Campsite is next to The reservoir Knypersley Pool (Country Park)which has some fantastic walks. Also fishing.
Campsite is very well sheltered.
There is a pub in about 1 mile up a steep lane to hamlet of Hill Top.
