Having visited this Caravan Club CL only recently I thought an up-to-date review would help other members. The approach is easy to the site although a little bumpy to the five pitches!
When we called to book our pitch we were given our pitch number (No4 ) by a friendly gentleman voice and told to carry on and settle in and enjoy your stay.
We met him 24 hours later when he came by to collect our payment.
The views are amazing from here as our Caravan overlooked the Peak hills into the far distance. The hook ups are easy to access, not too low on the ground. We did have to ask our neighbour where the fresh water was but once located no trouble.
Fast running fresh water soon fills 40 ltrs.
There is a ladies and gents separate toilets which are not great to be honest but if you're happy to use your own facilities then this a smashing site @ £13 per night with EHU
Waste emptying is via an outdoor toilet with water hose to clean. It's ok I've seen worse and better, it does the job.
Location is the key here, if you enjoy walking as Tittesworth Reservoir is nearby and if that isn't enough of an incentive then we came across three fantastic local Ale pubs who were all welcoming and helpful. The walk is approx 9 miles and definitely worth it with refreshment stops to spur you along.
Leek town centre is about a 25 min walk downhill, on the way there's a small local Asda. Just remember i's a good walk uphill on your return to help burn those calories and strengthen the heart!
Buxton is about 13 miles by car worth a visit and on your way you may want to stop and enjoy nature at its best with glorious views across the Peak District.
It isn't ideal if you have young children as there isn't anything for them to do.
If your are a couple old or young alike looking for some 'get away from it all chill time' then this is perfect.
We don't have any pets but there were other people there with dogs. There are horses that regularly go past but this wasn't in any way a nuisance to us.
All in all we have really enjoyed our stay at Roche House Farm. With such an excellent location we would definitely return. It certainly beats those big sites where the only view is someone else's units rear!

The site is ok, but could be so much better without much trouble or expense.
The good points:
Easy access, take the Buxton Road at Leek, then look out for the Moss Rose pub (not very far). Turn right then immediately right again into the site. You will be allocated a pitch upon booking.
It's easy to get to everywhere, and there are shops nearby, a Waitrose down Buxton Road and a small Asda in Sringfield Road (left and left again from the site in the direction of Ashbourne Road). There is also an Esso Garage on Ashbourne Road. There is a large new Sainsbury on Macclesfield Road.
The views are nice, of the Morridge hills, Hen Cloud and the Roaches but you really need to on pitch 1 (furthest from the road) to appreciate them.
The not so good points:
The 'site' is at the side of the driveway to the equestrian centre, so seems like rather an afterthought. It's on a D shaped track to the side of the actual driveway, but lots of cars use this rather than the driveway itself. The pitches are hardstanding but still rather muddy.
There is only one rubbish bin which is shared with the equstrian centre, this was not emptied during the week we were there and became more and more overflowing.
There are 2 loos for which you are given a key, but the key to the gents didn't work. The ladies was basic but clean.
There are 'stepping stones' set in the grass for the tap, these should be continued through the gap here; you have to use the driveway to get to the loos.
The CWD is set very high, strong arms needed.
The only place to put a satellite dish is on the grass between the pitches and the driveway, so your cable will be run over by other caravanners and those who drive around the 'D' to avoid the bad potholes.
£13 per night is too expensive for what is on offer.
