 Lovely quiet municipal site with welcoming management team. We had the choice of neatly hedged pitches with electricity. Immaculately clean showers and toilet facilities (in an older building) and easy access to motorhome services also. There are no entertainments on site, its attraction is the peace and tranquility it offers - wonderful! The small town is about a 15 minute walk away and is serviced by a supermarket; the river is close to the site (5 minutes) and there are some beautiful walks, a zip wire and a swimming complex nearby.
We were offered breakfast on our pitch (for €5 each) and decided to spoil ourselves. Lovely breakfast with fruit juice, bread, pastries and lots of steaming hot coffee delivered at a time of our choosing. Not for every day but since this was the first full day of our holiday, it was a wonderful treat.
We debated on keeping this site to ourselves but it would be a shame for the team who work there - they really deserve everyone to know what a hidden gem this is.
