This is really a beautiful site. Quiet and spacious with smashing views over Holmfirth, with Emley Moor mast on the horizon. Lovely soft grass and reasonably flat pitches. Walking distance to Digley reservoir with a lovely circular (be ready for a bit of a climb back to the site). The forge pub within walking distance the other way, we only had a drink there but it was a nice country pub.
Friendly and welcoming owners too.
So glad to have discovered this for last minute getaways when the weather surprises us in a good way, as it's only 15 minutes from our house.

Site easy to find with good signs from main road. Very friendly welcome. Nice cut field with amazing views (and lovely flowers). Chemical toilet point, water and rubbish disposal excellent. Pub close by to walk to (closed Mondays when we were there). Lovely walks in area - although steep hills! A bit far to walk to bus stop to get bus to Holmfirth and didn't fancy cycling there as all uphill on way back. Would definitely return again
