Small, well priced caravan site, which suited us perfectly and convenient to many places of interest. Jamie the owner was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We asked for a quiet pitch and were delighted to get one. Facilities were spotless; it was obvious the owners took a pride in their place. The closure of the barrier at 9pm was a little strange, as we had never experienced this before in the numerous sites we have been to over the years, but having read other reviews and the owners response for its reason, it was no huge deal in having to park outside the barrier after that time. All in all, a good site for those who want peace and quiet.

Spent 4 nights at Doonbeg. Great little site. Spotlessly clean showers were brilliant and free. Laundry room with iron facilities etc even a washing line outside for campers use. Jamie was brilliant nothing was too much trouble. Good location for touring around. We travelled the wild Atlantic coast. Went to Lighthouse at Loop Point. Really enjoyed time spent at Doonbeg and will definitely return.

Lovely site, very well signposted, neat and tidy, views all round. Facilities inc. Electricity, water, kitchen, laundry and extremely clean showers and toilets. Hosts are a couple from England, seasoned motorcaravanners themselves and extremely friendly and helpful. €9 per unit per night, €3 for wasbing machine and €3 for tumble drier but showers included in the night fee. I think they said closed from November. Really enjoyable stay.
