Please note we have been advised that this site has closed, and no longer offers camping, motorhome or caravanning pitches although the fishery itself is still open. If you know that this situation has changed in the future, please could you let us know. Many thanks

We stay there about 4 times a year and love the small caravan park. It is in the quiet countryside. Has a small take a way, usually open at meal times. The site also caters for the fisherman with fine waters. There is a wood alongside for nature walks. Toilets are clean. There is a large camping ground where there is usually enough room for the children to run off their excess energy.
Keep going back.

Arrived late Friday evening and realised we had forgotten the outer tent. Ken the park warden kindly loaned us his new tent to sleep in, which we used for the three nights we stayed.
The site is well kept, tidy, clean, well maintained. The fishing lakes are well groomed. My husband had a good time fishing.
The campsite was clean, Ken and Jud were very friendly and willing to help the campers, and no doubt the people fishing. Breakfast is option for the fishermen and campers, cooked by Ken.
Toilets and showers clean.
There is a butcher at the entrance of the farm. We purchased some meat before returning home. The butcher was also friendly and helpful. As Arnie would say. We will be back!

We had a brilliant weekend at Coking Farm over the August Bank Holiday.
The site is very easy to find, spacious with generous pitches and a nice relaxed atmosphere.
In all honesty when we first arrived I was a bit unsure as the farm is right next to a main road but didn't appear to have much to offer locally. We found out that there are 3 pubs that can all be accessed via public footpaths but our pushchairs meant that we didn't get any further than the woods! There is a soft play centre next door but that wasn't very accessible either.
None of this mattered though as there are horses, sheep and pigs on site and some nice walks around the fishing lakes. A bonus aerobatics show from the local airport and an impromptu fire show from some street performers who happened to be staying on site also kept us entertained.
The wardens are lovely, professional but not jobsworths which makes for a great atmosphere. Our neighbours were lively to say the least (ahem) but their early hours bad behaviour was dealt with really well which made for a more peaceful stay the following nights.
The on-site butchers is amazing, we enjoyed some beautiful old spot bacon and gorgeous Boerewors sausage at reasonable prices. I also bought a packet of pork scratchings for £2 which according to my Black Country friend were authentic and delicious.
The icing on the cake was having campfires, steel fire buckets were provided and logs offered for sale which made the cold nights more than bearable.
This is a lovely little site and we would be regular visitors if it was a little closer to home.

Just returned from a glorious weekend at this site. We stayed in the camping field which was well maintained and, amazingly, completely empty apart from our group. We took our own fire pit with us and had a couple of fantastic camp fires. The wardens were welcoming and keen to make sure everything was as it should be. Loos and showers spotless although the hot water could be a bit erratic depending on number if people using at the same time. The site is just off the A30 and you drive through the farm in order to get to the camping area at the end of the lane. There is some road noise from the A30 but nothing too intrusive. More noise comes from the small aircraft but they were very welcome for the kids to spot and wave to.
Only other major point to note is an electric fence which separates the camping field from the horses and sheep. This is cordoned off by a secondary roped barrier but perhaps needs looking at to try and secure further.
Overall though a lovely site especially for a small get together with family or friends. Really recommend.

Great site, the campsite is situated in a peaceful location away from main roads and is quiet, and well-kept. Shower block was very tidy and showers were actually hot! The fishing lakes add to the atmosphere, and the forest nearby was an interesting walk. Butchers in the farmyard also sells amazing sausages!
Only complaint is that there are no bins in the campsite, although there are some behind the reception down the track near the exit.
