Lovely peaceful campsite just off the coast path, with fantastic views. Good clean facilities and very friendly owners. Communal fire pit with wood available.

Our group of 20 had a field to ourselves despite it being a bank holiday weekend.

Will definitely return

As a regular Coastal Path walker, I've been to Llangrannog many times in the past, but only 'passing through' en route to somewhere else.

This was my first stay at Maes Y Morfa, but I will definitely stay there again. There were several touring caravans and camper vans staying there when I arrived, and as they wanted electric hook up, they had their designated areas in the field, which is to be expected.

The site is at the top of the slope just south of the town, 10 minute walk down to town, a bit longer to walk back up! the field is undulating, but very spacious, so there are plenty of places to pitch an average sized tent like mine.

As for the facilities, I must say I was both surprised and impressed. 2 toilets, 2 showers (unisex block) kept immaculately clean at all times and all hot water is free! Yes campers, I washed up for free with really hot water for the first time in years!

Pob Thomas, the owner, could not have been more friendly or helpful, the perfect host. I quickly learned that most of the families staying there were regular visitors, which speaks volumes for the place. Everyone staying there was really friendly and as I camp and walk alone, were interested to hear about where I'd walked on that day and could tell me about places to look out for the following day.

As I said, I'll go back with no hesitation whatsoever. Simply brilliant.

We have visited this site several times and just love it's isolation.

The camping pitches are essentially situated at the top of a field on the flat area, with the rest of the field fairly steeply sloping. There are a couple of EHUs available at the top.

Though not mentioned there is a big communal fire pit and the owner will usually let you have some wood to burn if he has it.

Again though not mentioned he does allow dogs

The facilities are basic and shared with The Beudy, two toilets and a shower which although a bit dated are clean, there is also an inside dishwashing area, with hot water.

Llangrannog is about a 15 minute walk down the hill and has shops, cafes and pubs and two small beaches but it is a bit of a slog back up.

A lovely site if you just want to get a way from it all, with a loveley owner and few rules.
