This is a large holiday park split 50/50 between touring pitches and static mobile homes set high up above the beautiful village of Dunmore East (where Redwater (Cat & Alfie Eastenders spin off) was filmed) it is part of a large golf complex, with some new build holiday homes across the road, its about a 20 minute walk down into the town which has some lovely beaches, water activity centre, shops, pubs and a working harbour. But it's a steep walk back up the hill - be warned !, the site itself is quite basic with a reception, no shop and although the toilet and shower facilities are well kept new and clean there are only 3 showers in each male & female which for a site with almost 100 pitches is inadequate. At 30 euro's per night (2 adults + motorhome) its quite expensive especially as the showers are an extra 1 Euro for 4 minutes !
