 Liked: Great location for pub, electric hook up, friendly pub staff, quiet campsite, excellent pub
Disliked: Unhygienic shower block. Ladies toilets blocked - flushed toilets and waste backing up into shower.
Shower was filthy and unusable. Toilet block was not cleaned during our stay - Friday to Sunday.
We were charged £20 per night plus £5 for the hook up. Would be a great site if toilet block was sorted.

We stopped at this little site because we have a new-to-us dog and we didn't know how he would behave on a full-on site. In the event, we needn't have worried.
This is a small site at the back of the Moon Inn, which is on a bend in Mordiford village, half a mile or so from Lucksall site.
The site has a mixture of statics, seasonal caravans and touring pitches and is next to the village school.
When we visited, the facilities block was taped off (Corvid 19 restrictions), but included washing up sinks as well as male and female sections. We didn't look inside, so don't know whether there were showers as well as loos.
Lovely views of fields, woods and sheep. Convenient for Hereford and Herefordshire villages, although when we visited, the road to Fownhope and beyond was closed due to a land slip. Plenty of dog walks around the village and further afield.
From the activities of other campers, fishing is also available nearby. Friendly landlady and really excellent food. Service was restricted to the pub garden (the weather was very good while we were there), but was also excellent.
We have family in the area and lived in Hereford & Ross for over 30 years, so would certainly use this site again. Very much no frills, so might not suit those who are looking for more than a base for other activities.
Unfortunately, the village shop is no longer open and the nearest food shop is on the outskirts of Hereford, so if you are planning to self-cater, you will need to think ahead.
