 Found this site last minute. We had left home with no idea of where we were going so we were on the ferry looking for places and as we were pulling into calais on the ferry and I found this site on here and sent an email with an enquiry and within 20 minutes Anita had rang me and said they have a pitch but time we get there the security barriers and reception would be shut but to call the main number on arrival and we would be let in and allocated a pitch and then to come back down in the morning to make payment.
True to her word when we arrived I made the call and was let in and allocated a pitch. Woke up next morning to see we were pitched up right on the marina with lovely views.
The site is lovely and clean and tidy and well set out with clean shower blocks, laundry service on there as well, the people are lovely and friendly and do their best to help you out.
When we arrived it was bad weather but this place would be even more better if the weather was nicer but we would definitely go back again.

Beautiful site, spotlessly clean and super friendly.
Late check in was easy (please email in advance)
Lovely little children's park.
Beautiful camping spots right on the rivers edge for tents and vans.

This is an easy site to find. It is well signposted from the main road.
We had to pay up front plus a Euro 35 deposit for the barrier card.
For a caravan and 2 adults the cost was about Euro 22 per night.
The ACSI discount is not available here.
You were not allowed to keep the car by the caravan so if you had a lot of shopping you would have a short walk, about 100 metres, to your pitch.
Pitch sizes were very generous and there is plenty of room for caravan, awning and sitting out area.
At the time of our visit the only downside was the long grass which wet your shoes every time you left the caravan.
The toilet block was modern and of a very good standard. The only problem was the shower control which was a single button which stayed on for about 1 second. This was the same in both the ladies' and men’s facilities. There is free Wi-Fi on site – ask for the code.
The site is situated close to a small village with supermarket. It is also set by the Oude Maas river which is a major route for barges/ships of all shapes and sizes. They run throughout the night and can just be heard on site – it didn't disturb us. There is a short, on site, walk by the river.
We enjoyed our time here.
