A typical CL with plenty of space for 5 vans. The toilet and shower facilities were basic but kept immaculate. In fact all the farm buildings were kept in good condition
We were only there for 3 nights. We needed two visits to Milton Keynes which is nearby. We enjoyed a good walk along the footpaths to Hanslope and then back into castlethorpe. 2 nice villages

Very peaceful and quiet site. Beautiful surroundings, no traffic noise, just birdsong. Owner very friendly and accommodating, we booked for two nights and stayed five nights.
Village shop excellent - it was lovely to see a real customer focused village store with (almost) everything you could ever want and a lovely chatty lady serving. Did not eat out so can't comment on eateries but did have a stroll down Union Canal from Navigation Inn, very peaceful and interesting
I have only downgraded the site facilities as (previously mentioned) no loo roll or towel, but very clean and tidy. We used the site to visit Bletchley Park where your admission tickets are valid for a year, so we are planning to return to have another day at Bletchley.

A real CL. So quiet, owner so thoughtful and welcoming made special arrangements for our heavy unit as it had been very wet.
The bird song and different birds were a delight, plenty of rabbits to keep us amused. Lovely walks without going onto a road. MK redway for cycling just up the road.
The village shop sells everything including amazing homemade curries.
We have already booked again.

This is a lovely little CL site with flat grass pitches. Very quiet away from any traffic sounds down a long lane.
The lady owner was very friendly. Excellent shower with a separate toilet (shame she didn't run to a loo roll).
Our dog enjoyed the site and the extensive walking to be had in the countryside.
It was a short distance up the road to the Grand Union canal and the pub on the canal. However I believe the pub will be shut for extensive refurbishment over the Autumn and winter.
Milton Keynes is about 5 miles away, and the local village less than a mile.

A well kept quiet CL with the luxury of a wc/shower and free, take your own toilet paper as there was never any in during our stay.
Close to Milton Keynes, but we preferred Stoney Statford for our shopping.
Very friendly warden he couldn't do enough for the people staying on site, lending levelling blocks to a camper and a tv and aerial to a person in a caravan.
We would love to visit this site again.

Milford Leys Farm is located over 1/2 mile from the road along a metalled bridleway. GPS postcode location MK19 7HH is spot on so don't worry when your system tells you to turn up 'alley' or the suchlike.
Pitching area is directly behind the owner’s farm house, is totally peaceful, the surface is level and beautifully prepared. Birdsong (mainly Sparrows chirping) was exceptional.
Conveniently located just off the pitching area in a converted farm building is the WC / shower (free) facility which is excellent in CL terms.
Very dog friendly (no charge) with nice footpath walks directly from site down to the Grand Union Canal. However you must ensure that your pet does not worry the sheep in the adjacent field.
A personal recommendation: take away a curry home made by the Asian owners of the Castlethorpe village store.
To sum up: One of the nicest CLs I've have the pleasure to use. If it's peace and birdsong you want, look no further.
