 Spent a couple of nights here to chill out after Le Mans. Lovely municipal site with pitches laid out with many different types of tree and bushes. Two blocks of facilities are superb and have everything. Site borders the Braye, but access gates were locked - I believe these are opened in the main season.
The municipal swimming pool(s) are accessed directly from the site and are free to campers.
In the village itself there is a SuperU, a pizza place, and a couple of bars, and two hotels with restaurants. Didn't try any of these (apart from the supermarche) as we 'ate in'.
The only slight negative is that some of the pitches are not huge, but the one I had was big enough.
At €13 per night for 'van, car, 2 people and ehu - can't really go wrong.
