 A lovely CL with a mixture of hard standing and grass. Very friendly and helpful owners.
Easy access by bike from the site across the Severn Bridge to Chepstow.
All the Facilities you would expect from a CL.

A quite nice and useful CL, situated as it is near J1 of the M48 with good access. You do need to stop at the farm, just before the site, to pick up the gate key, so it's also a secure site.
It has views over the surrounding countryside, but not of the Severn Estuary as you might think. Look out for a large pylon to find it, if you end up beside the estuary, then you have gone too far (guess who did? but you can turn round, luckily). There is an area of hardstanding opposite the main part of the site (where the caravans are a little too close together), as we were just staying overnight, we decided to use this.
It's clean and tidy, closely mown grass, good recycling and a friendly owner. 10 pounds per night which is very acceptable.
If you need fuel and food, go to Aust Services which is very close by, more expensive but the next nearest is at Cribbs Causeway on the M5, a bit too far unless you also want to visit the shops.
Aust Cliff is very close by if you fancy a bit of fossil hunting.
