If you like peace and quiet and a site without the clubs and bars and their associated noise and bustle, and you are confident at towing (the roads to the site are single track in places) you will love this site. The view at sunrise and sunset are second to none. There are few nicer places to be than relaxing in the sunshine with the only sounds being the family dog snoring contentedly and the skylark singing high above your head.
The dog friendly beach is a few minutes walk away and when the tide is out, has acres and acres of space.
The owner is friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The site is also spotless. We're going back again this coming weekend

Access to this site is far from straight forward. The B4295 along the north gower from Penclawdd is twisting and narrows to single track in places.
Even following the site's recommended directions takes you along long stretches of single track roads with few passing places, but be assured that the alternative route is even more tortuous.
Having said that, the entrace to the side is wide so even the longest of outfits would be ok. Experienced and confident towers should be OK.
The site is fairly new and accommodated 5 vans only. Pitches are priced at £20 per night and are massive, so there is loads of space between you and the next van.
The owner is very friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Grass is kept reasonable short, but hedge cutting is limited by legislation to certain times of the year.
The site is basic. For your money you get electric hook up, a shared fresh water tap and a chemical toilet disposal point (this is pretty primitive but functional).
What you also get for your money are stunning views over Broughton Bay and the beach which is dog friendly and can be walked to in a matter of minutes.
There are similar CL / CS type sites that can be had for less money, but I doubt any have a view to rival this one.
The site is very peaceful, except for sheep bleeting, and light pollution is no existent so it gets very dark with stunning night skies.
The site owners also run a small shop and cafe in the village, but for a decent shop you'll need to travel back at least to Penclawdd.
