Unable to camp here in April as the weather was atrocious and we were told we wouldn’t be able to get off the site if we got on it, we delayed until October when it was very windy and the ground was wet but manageable.
An easily walkable distance to Amlwch Port which we wanted to explore, and not a lot further into Amlwch itself.
This is a small friendly site with spotless facilities, some of which are open 24 hours the others close at 7pm. We did have a problem with the 24 hour shower door which was impossible to lock, so rendered useless. We discovered that the owners were already aware of the problem.
The countryside around here is lovely and we hope to be back to explore further afield.

Adult only, lovely views, nice walk to the coastal path.
Owner bit too worried about his grass.
A bit tight for hitching and unhitching.
Overall I would come here again.

A beautifully kept small site within easy walking distance of Almwch Port.
The surrounding countryside is perfect for walking with the Wales Coast Path nearby.
This adult only site is peaceful with just sounds of some sheep and a couple of ponies in the adjoining field.
Karl and Julie were very helpful and we enjoyed the eggs supplied by their free range chickens!
It is easy to reach the NT house Plas Newydd, the Menai bridge and a pretty drive to Beaumaris castle.
A very relaxing spot!

Excellent site run by a couple who care.
Karl & Julie run an amazing site,
The facilities are spotless,
The pitch is flat with water and ehu.
Karl even drove us to the top of the copper mountain so that we only had to walk down.
Well done brilliant.

Lovely well kept & organised small site. Very close to Amlwch Port which has a good chippy, café & one ok pub.
The Copper Kingdom & Sail Loft were both closed down. Coastal path straight from camp site & Parys Mountain, Cemaes Bay also short drive away.
Amlwch town itself is very run down/depressed & pubs there quite threatening; daren't go in them. But there is a co-op for supplies there.
£35/night with awning plus fair payment for electric used. No extra charge for hot shower.

Access and signage is limited (we overshot and were castigated) but a compact, flat well cut field gave us a lovely pitch with water and electric (This was measured by a reading before and after- great, fair way of costing)
Facilities were very clean and free hot water in showers.
Good walking on coastal path but a bit of a trek to shops and pub.
