Our first time camping with a caravan we had recently bought. Booked online, followed by a phone call. We pulled into The Weld of Kent, a golf course with a camping club area. A green field with six spaces. Just me, wife and our greman shepard. We booked in via the main area next to the bar.
We werer the only one's using the site so we could park anywhere. The dog was free to run around unless anyone else turned up. [but no-one did] they do a carvery on Sundays. Free use of showers and any of the club aminities including WiFi, fantastic bar overlooking the golf course. On the field there was no electric but a fresh water and waste, toilet disposil area with a path to them.
The town is a short ride about 10 minuets with plenty of shops, small supermrket and food outlets and pubs, cafes and tea rooms. Also nearby is the airidrome with free parking, a musemum and a cafe/resturant/pub.
