Brilliant campsite, we return here year after year. Its a lovely size for smaller children and feels safe to let them explore or visit the on site park by themselves.
Decent shower block with other loos and showers with a slightly more rustic feel. Always clean.
We love the home made cider available from the on site shop & bar.

What a wonderful site, Caroline and Dave could not do enough to make your stay great.
The facilities are spotlessly clean all of the time. The cafe and bar area are excellent and the food is very good. The home brewed cider is wonderful.
All of the staff are very pleasant and nothing is to much trouble.
There are wonderful walks around the surrounding area and the water gardens are a real trestle for the kids.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this site to family and friends.

From our arrival, (unannounced) we had a friendly open greeting.
Shown a pitch and intro of the site.
Excellent facilities, short mown grass, easy access and pitched in a nice spot.
Playground facilities good & safe for two young children.
Toilet blocks lovely & clean, showers good.
Small cafe on site and close to Gloucester & river Seven.
An excellent site, would recommend.

Such a lovely site. On-site cafe and bar, friendly welcome and lots of great conversations. Good disabled shower unit. Animal area a calming bonus. Enjoyed our food from the cafe bar and also a lovely afternoon tea whilst visiting.
Managed to visit Lyndsey, Gloucester and Cheltenham during our stay. We were part of a rally so also had use of the barn on Saturday evening.
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the area, and since our stay have moved from Lincolnshire to Somerset, so we hope to get back more regularly.

This was our second visit to Apple Orchard, although its been a few years since we last stayed there, the site was better then previous with more showers and toilets.
We booked to give our new caravan its first outing in familiar surroundings.
Beautiful location for us, easy to get to. Very quite, immaculately clean showers and toilets, pitches very flat, great price and dogs welcome. The café on site is great as well.
Already booked for Easter 2022.

A group of friends came for the weekend, to wish a very poorly friend goodbye.
We were well received as always, the owners of this campsite could not be more friendly & helpful.
They work hard to make your visit brilliant.
We go every year at least once.
This year we went 3 times. The last visit was the Halloween weekend party, the last weekend before the site shuts for the winter.
Awesome hosts

Really lovely site, easy detour off of M5, either north or south (you can off at Gloucester return via Chepstow/ m48 etc or vice versa)
Peaceful rural location with a good on site dog walk through the orchard, also rural walks from site or forest of Dean not far away.
I stayed in a pod which was great - recommend you try the cider produced on site.
Although I didn't eat there the little cafe on site had a very appealing menu.
Spotlessly clean site, friendly owners - covid precautions in place
Would definitely stay here again. Although I only stayed one night it would be great base for exploring the area
