Liked: nice scenery
Disliked: field wasn't great, nothing on site apart from outdated park for kids, no shop as advertised, whole place appeared outdated, dirty and overpriced. I wouldn't eat there. No hygiene rating displayed either.
I know its camping but I don't expect the Ritz. Staff were ok but more concerned with their own conversation that welcoming guests and never smiled. Working in hospitality myself I know how people can struggle in busy times etc but the place was dead in August as well! Only booked as a last min thing but it was not as advertised and I wouldn't go back

The site is situated in a beautiful valley with fantastic views. Plenty of walks. But with over 500 hundred people on site over May Bank Holiday 2016, 3 toilets and 3 showers for females and the same for men was so insufficient, the staff tried to keep them clean but there were just to many folks. We felt the site was very over crowded. Access to the camping fields is not suitable for large caravans as the lane from reception is very narrow. The site shop was small and just sold the basics, didn't use the tea rooms or play areas.

Nice site. Main attraction is the pub which owns the campsite, it has its own brewery on site. The play area for the kids is very good, there is lots of open space besides the park for kids and dogs to play In. The toilets and showers etc are basic but clean, and there is only 1 shower each for men and women for the whole site, that said we were there on a weekend in August and it wasn't that busy. We pitched on the side next to the road which was a bit noisy at times, but there is plenty of space to pitch away from the road.
