The previous two reviews were wildly different so we didn't know what to expect. Bad: the place *is* very run down and there are a number of permanent residents; washing up facilities primitive; toilet/shower block a bit cow shed like. Good: everything worked (sort of) - electric hook up, showers hot, water in basins hot; toilet blocks were cleaned daily; the warden was perfectly OK; the permanent residents were no trouble; there is a decent pub with food 5-10 minutes walk away; Barnham station (which is a south coast interchange) is 10 minutes walk away, as is a very cheap shop; loads of places within easy reach by car or train. Don't go here if you plan to spend any days on site or have children who want to play on the site. If, like us, you are out every day, it will do and is excellently situated geographically. Enjoyed our stay in the area but probably once was enough at this site.

A quirky little site, a bit ramshackle but delightful, set in a small field next to a small mobile home site, all pitches seemed to have electric hook up and there was also a motorhome service point.
The owners were very friendly and the facilities were very clean.
The village of Barnham is a 10 minute walk away with shops, pubs and a railway station which has a good service to many towns in the south. Handy if you want to travel around car free.

A delightful little site (30 tent pitches only). Handy for Littlehampton and Arundel as well as Chichester.
