Great grass pitch, entrance is quite difficult to negotiate.
The location is lovely on a hill above Sowerby Bridge and Ripponden.

Little gem of a site.
Really quiet and the owners are very attentive and make sure you make the most of your visit to the area.
We have visited twice and will definitely be back.
Grass field and quite flat can get muddy obviously but not too much of a problem.
Nice walk down to town but steep so recommend taxi back - cheap fare.

A lovely quiet and peaceful campsite. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Would definitely come again.
My partner is a competent tower but I would be nervous towing up the narrow country lanes.
No facilities but we are self sufficient anyway.
Good value for money and I like how the campsite has set up the recycling area.

A little gem of a site. Friendly owners. A pub serving good food about a mile away, shops a bit further in Sowerby and Sowerby Bridge.
Own facilities required. Great views and opportunities to walk, run, cycle in several directions, but this is a very hilly area, so a certain level of fitness is required if you want to avoid using the car!
If towing, the approach from Sowerby is a bit tricky, as it’s not possible to make the tight turn into the camping field, on your left. You need to continue past the gate, to a left hand junction (which is nearer than you think), and make a sweeping u-turn back to the farm gate, which is now on your right.
Once you have mastered the correct approach, you will be smitten with this lovely little site, and like us, be planning your next visit.

A warm, friendly welcome from the owners who gave us lots of information on local facilities and specifically what precautions they were taking re Covid 19.
In a lovely location at the top of a steep hill out of Sowerby Bridge,
The views of the surrounding moors were splendid.
