 Stopped here for 1 night on way to Spain.
Given a choice of pitches - all a god size.
Man in reception didn't speak English but we managed to communicate.
Very reasonable price.
Access direct to lake.
Showers and toilets acceptable - typically french with no toilet paper.
Not far from motorway - easy to find.

We booked for three nights but ended up staying for 8 on this municipal on the shores of the Lac du Salagou. Surrounded by the most incredible, iron-rich landscape, it looks like the Aussie outback with the red soil and clumps of wild cactus.
The site is big and busy but was surprisingly quiet and peaceful at night. There is a bar down on the beach with entertainment one night a week but we were up on the hill overlooking the entrance and weren't bothered by it.
The lake was nice to swim in. You can walk down from the campsite to a beach with a lifeguard, but lots of people walk round the shores to more secluded places so they can be at one with nature! We went canoeing on the lake and we followed the shore line and we were most surprised by the natural sites we saw!
The site is very easily reached from the motorway and is within easy reach of the town of Lodeve with its busy market. We also went to the Pont du Diable nea St Guilhem-le-desert to swim. We even went for a trip to the Med to the beach one day, a drive of about 40 minutes.
There are two toilet blocks, although I only used one. It was kept clean but the showers weren't brilliant. No loo roll of course.
There was a children's play area with a climbing wall.
Pitches are large - you pay per pitch and person, no extras for pup tents - and the ones higher up the hill have lovely views.
There's no shop on site, but bread was delivered every morning - there were at least 3 different bakers, and one of them did the biggest and best croissants I had all summer. Additionally, most evenings the site was visited by people selling wine, vegetables, oils, gifts etc. We tried some really lovely wine from a local grower and ended up buying a lot more to bring back!
There are lots of shops in Lodeve, but there is also an Intermarche 5 minutes drive away.
The attraction for us was the lake to swim in with our dog. It was also very cheap!
