 The sites are all large but vary in size. There is plenty of shade, under beautiful broad-leaf trees.
Electricity points, 10 amp, abound but water points more sparse.
The pool was not very large and the cafe/bar area had free wi-fi ( which was also receivable at pitches 29 -32).
The sanitaire blocks ( only one of which was open when we were there) are clean but in need of updating. The water is hot, eventually, and powerful in the showers.
The laundry area was a bit dishevelled and needed work on it.
The town of Valreas which is well worth visiting often, is in walking distance (6 minute cycle ride for two very old codgers on heavy bikes)
The tourist office is just at the top of the road, as is the bus station. Buses go to Nyons and Montelimar. Beware, the line 71 is part of the SNCF network and is more expensive than the Vaucluse local buses.
Also at the top of the road is the Caveau Saint-Jean where you can buy wine in bulk. Although it is not as good as Vignolis in Nyons just down the road.
Within a mile there is a large LeClerc complex, an Aldi and a Lidl. The other side of town there is a large Intermarche.
Valreas is beautifully situated in the Drome Provencale area for Grignan, Taulignan, Richerenches (with its truffle market), Vinsobres and Nyons, all within a 10 mile radius and flat cycling.
Because the area is one of our favourites we spent over 15 nights here and the site, although not top star, was very comfortable.

Reviewers - mature couple with campervan and bikes.
I have stayed at this site some years ago and as we fancied visiting the town, decided to stay for a night. The site is outside the interesting town of Valreas, about 5 minutes by bike, in a rural setting. At the entrance by the reception building is a cafe bar and shop, and opposite that the pool.
The wardens were very friendly and seemed to be around a lot. The site has a mixture of chalets and touring pitches. These are attractively set out in a woodland setting so plenty of shade. The pitches vary in size and shape, and are mainly flat.
The sanitary block was a short walk away, with some shared and some separate facilities, all in a clean condition.
We cycled into the town which has an old and interesting centre. There is a supermarket on the ring road.
The site gives ACSI discount, so was moderately priced. We would use this site again if in the area.
