 We really enjoyed our stay at Rose Cottage, such a well kept site.
The showers are hot and spotlessly clean.
Taxi into town was only £10.
People on site very friendly & welcoming.
So peaceful, a true gem. We will definitely return 
 via mobile

Lovely site with pretty orchard and immaculate facilities
Sat nav stops short of the location so keep going!
Lovely location but didn’t see the owners at all in fact had to ask who owned the site and was told by rose cottage ( which you would assume owed rose cottage site but don’t ) that they were over the road
Bit of a quandary on how to pay but luckily I used the laundry and there was a post box in there to post payments in. All a bit laid back I would have liked some contact as there wasn’t anyone else on the site other than one obviously permanent resident who wasn’t up for a chat.
The local cherry tree pub had quite rude staff and “couldn’t be bothered “ to do food and constantly overlooked us for locals so we wouldn’t go there again and the dog walking seemed to be on roads only but we weren’t there long enough to investigate as we came to attend a wedding so I can’t comment on the locality

We loved this site for the night. Situated in the middle of nowhere but good country road access to the town. Hookup worked well and good hard standing meant we could avoid walking on wet grass to the facilities.
Very pretty little orchard. The combined toilet/shower room was heated, clean and well equipped with chair, shower curtain and clothes hooks.
One small criticism was that it was rather hard to locate. The sat Nav using the postcode was spot on but the signage was hidden behind farm equipment, difficult to find. Not marked from the road as a campsite.
Overall one of the nicest camping nights we spent in a wet and windy May break.

Part of me does not want to do this review, for being selfish I would like to keep this site secret! When you pick a small site with no reviews, you are not certain of what to expect, this is a gem! Set in an orchard, just outside the village (about 20 mins walk to the pub)
5 hard standing pitches, each with water and electric, one single toilet and two toilet and shower combined rooms, always spotless any time of day we went in, 'proper' showers - no pushing buttons every 30 seconds, home made jam usually on sale in the laundry (we were a bit early in the season), an honesty box in the laundry to place your site fees, full laundry facilities, chemical toilet facilities, full refuse facilities, I cannot find anything to fault on this site, those people we spoke to said it was the best site, of its type, they had been in, we concur completely.
We will be back!
