This is a lovely camp, all hard standing, immaculately kept, very peaceful and extremely clean. The tariff is reasonable, we were charged £39 for pitch with hookup for 3 adults, 4 dogs and an awning from the Friday lunchtime to the Sunday morning. There is no noise allowed after 11pm so you are guaranteed a relaxing stay.
There are good clean toilets and the showers have enough room to stand and get dressed in them/ Also a hairdryer for 10p for quite a long time of use. You get to the campsite down a country lane but there is no problem in meeting a car coming towards you as there are plenty of passing places along there. Dogs are welcome as long as they are well behaved (I took 4 along) and they are kept on the lead at all times. So all in all I would say if you want to really chill out this is the camp to go to.

July 2005 Nipped in on the second weekend in July for a look. Very pleasant owners. Situated behind a pristine caravan park. Quiet little field, lovely rural views. Little tables and chairs thoughtfully set up for tenters. Obvious aim is to maintain the tranquility of the site, so not suitable for large noisy parties or children .. Looks like a good spot for a quiet relaxing holiday.

May 2005 Even on a Bank Holiday weekend, this site remains quiet and relaxing, thanks to the on-site ruling of no games or noise after 11pm. The tent field is probably not big enough to warrant its own toilet block but this is a small sacrifice to make in return for flat pitches and an open view. The toilets and showers were only a short walk away and were perfectly adequate... clean with plenty of hot water.

August 2004 This was our first time here and only our 3rd time camping and compared to the other places we have stayed at Downsview was lovely. There was a warm welcome when we arrived, lots of advice on what to do whilst we stayed there and the facilities were excellent. The only thing I would say is that the toilet block is through the caravan site, and it would have been a bit mpore convenient if they had a toilet in the camping field as well. Other than that we would definitely recommend this caravan and campsite, and will be visiting again shortly.

July 2004 We found this site on a last minute escape for the night. The tent field is nice & tidy with a really nice welcome peaceful atmosphere. As we were only there for 1 night with our dog we did not get much opportunity to explore the area., so we will definately be returning when we have got more time & when it is not raining !!!

April 2003 Visited site over the bank holiday weekend. It is an ideal base for visiting Brighton and the surrounding areas. The site is set out very nicely with hard standing for all pitches. They could benefit from additional gravel to the side in order to save mud being trodden into the van. It would be ideal for older couples without pets as the owners are not keen on you walking dogs on the fields to the rear of the site. The toilets, showers and washing facilities are all very clean and tidy if not a little chilly.

Sept 2003 We found this site by chance & initial impressions were that it was very much geared to caravans. However, we were not to be disappointed as there is a lovely field at the rear of the site with fine, open views. There is an additional field they open when busy.
Facilities were clean & good. Excellent countryside on its doorstep, so worth visiting !

June 2003 Really peaceful, clean and relaxing site. A two mile or so walk down beautiful country lanes to some excellent country pubs in Fulking and Poynings. Lovely setting.

July 2002 This was the first site we visited followng a long break from camping. Lovely area, beautiful views and lovely flat pitches. The toilets and showers were clean. We would happily visit this site again as it has a lovely tranquil feeling about it. The site managers are very friendly and welcoming.
