Marion was a great host, she showed us the facilities, very hands on.
Recommended nice pubs to visit and found us a place to take our inflatable kayak out.

It’s a lovely well cared for site with clean well kept facilities,
It’s a great getaway location that is tranquil and used by other respectable families and couples during our stay.
The lady Marion who lives and owner there is really friendly and help full.
I would recommend it to anybody and will return.

Lovely friendly host, so helpful, lovely lady.
Really flexible with arrival and departure times.
Very reasonably priced.
Grass standing but well kept.

Wonderful site, peaceful rural location not too far from Saffron Walden and Stansted.
The facilities were basic but clean, you need 50p for the ladies shower.
The owner was very friendly and helpful,
Would definitely go there again

I would just like to say how helpful and friendly the owner was.
I arrived lateish and she was super helpful.
Nice campsite, good facilities, not too busy.

The site was perfect for our needs: a quiet spot with all the facilities one might want (toilets, showers, washing up station, power hookups, etc. )
The owner was lovely and let me pitch up a bit early.
We very much enjoyed our stay: if you're looking for a tranquil spot in rural Essex, as an excellent staging ground for exploring the country or as a simple retreat from the world, this is perfect.

A lovely, very well maintained small site, spotlessly clean.
We had it to ourselves as it was early in the season so very peaceful!
Friendly owner who made us feel very welcome.

Peaceful, in the middle of nowhere, welcoming, helpful and very relaxing.
Small but nicely laid out.
50p needed for the shower.
No "set" time to leave which is a bonus.

As the address indicates, the site is on a farm (arable). It is a small, tidy and very pleasant site, with plenty of trees and flat grass in beautiful countryside.
While the facilities are fairly basic, with a men's shower and toilet and women's shower and toilet, they are kept immaculately clean. We did see a crockery/laundry room but it wasn't available while we were there.
Marion, the owner, is very friendly and extremely helpful.
If you are looking for a totally 'silent' night's sleep, this site may not be best for you, as it is about 10 miles from Stansted Airport and flights can pass over quite regularly, well into the evening and start early morning.
That aside, we would thoroughly recommend it.
