 Arrived late in afternoon to find a nice clean site. Really friendly lady who owns the site.
Clean facilities and really nice warm shower

A lovely site with a great rural view over farmland in the Thurrock countryside close to the charming village of Orsett, historical places and country parks.
The hostess was very friendly and helpful.
The toilet and shower block was very clean and warm, one of the best we have used. And only £20 pn.
We'll use it again. No children or pets as its a working farm.

This is a great overnight or couple of nights stop over site. Lovely position and very quiet. Good pubs in the the village of Orsett nearby

Very welcoming, lovely showers,
Some traffic noise from main road but still a very peaceful stay,
Very good access to main road and a good Morrisons reasonably close

Working arable farm campsite so expect simple facilities, nothing pretentious. Saying that - water point at the pitch, 16A electrical point, simple but clean toilets and showers with plenty of hot water.
Site is secure with an automatic barrier. Good security.
Warden is very pleasant, very friendly and extremely helpful.
Queries are answered promptly.
Would recommend and will return!

This site has no pretensions, as it says on the tin its a working farm so there are no animals or children, and the encampment of caravans near to the farm buildings isn't pretty but the view in the other direction is wonderful across the fields.
The road is far enough away to be a low rumble. It is secure and very quiet. The facilities are good, good sized shower and loads of hot water, and everything clean and in good order.
Phone answered promptly and clear instructions given on how to find and get in and very nice lady showed me around the site. The camping field pitches are numbered and large and is on good soft grass.
I stopped over and walked to the nearest pub which was a lovely walk around the field, and had a lovely meal there in the large garden, the kitchen closes at 8pm.
Lorkins Farm highly recommended for what it is, a very reasonably priced and unpretentious site in quiet farmland.
