This was a brief end of season visit to a site with mostly static vans.
The site is very convenient for Deal but tucked away from main road.
The hard standing was good and the site very quiet.
The bathroom facilities were adequate but fairly basic reflecting that most presumably had their own connected facilities.
Anyway we had a good stay & booked directly by phone.

Clifford camping and caravan site is a beautiful quiet and very clean well looked after place,
Excellent hot water for showering and a separate little room for doing your washing up with hot water. My husband thought that was great.
The staff were very helpful and easy to talk to All family I think, the grass is so soft (sound a funny comment but it’s soft and well kept ).
If you want a lovely quiet relaxing time where people respect each other’s privacy this is the place to go, if you want to loud noisy place it’s not for you.
It has a lovely little chip shop, the best chip and cod we have had in years, so nice we went in there twice to get our food, there is a pub, plus Little micro pub, a corner shop get bits and pieces if you needed anything and a newspaper was good because they opened early but didn’t stay open late, and a bakery all in a very short walking distance from Clifford Caravan Park.
If we were to have a static caravan that’s where we would like it to be, we will definitely be going there again next year, but this year is the weather let’s us.
You can if you like walking, walk in to the beach at walmer, there is also a bus stop by the little shops to go into Deal.
Lastly I’d like to say that we felt very safe here.

Our second visit to Clifford Park.
Great location within easy walking or, in our case, cycling distance of Deal and Walmer.
The site is spacious, clean, and welcoming.
The 'facilities' are a bit limited but they are clean.
Electric hook-up dropped out a few times, which was a bit annoying - other campers noted this too.
However, we'd come back.

Very well presented site, lovely manicured lawns. The facilities were very basic, not at all child friendly, so if you have a child in your party, book somewhere else!
On arrival I signed in and paid for 3 days, with a view to staying longer. Our car had broken down, so a friend who we usually tour with was giving us a tow. When asked how many of us were staying, I told the Site Reception there were 2 of us. On the way to the pitch, the person from reception noticed my boyfriend in the car also, and said 'i thought there were 2 of you? To which he was told that yes, there are 2 of us, my friend was just giving us a tow. He then looked at me and said 'Sounds dodgy to me, you're only staying 3 days!' Because we had the misfortune of breaking down the weekend before we left, our 10 day holiday turned in to just 3.
We were made to feel about as welcome as a chicken drumstick at a vegan buffet. Very disappointed

Lovely clean site. It was quiet when we went but previous reviews have mentioned lots of children running around. Football is banned. Well appointed grounds, well kept, mown lawns around the static caravans.
Toilet facilities are dated but very clean. Could do with another shower (only one for each gender on site).
Easy access to Deal and Walmer ( walking or cycling).
Would definitely return.

We stayed for 3 nights with a friend who wanted to try camping. We found the site to be very clean and tidy. The toilets were clean, shower was nice and hot although Saturday a big family arrived and used all the hot water for the next two days. Our friend went home on Sunday we stayed for another night. On the down side it does get very windy you do need to peg every thing down. But the people on site are very nice and helpful, we will be going back there in August.
The site is on the main bus route into Dover Deal and Walmer. The site is very easy to find there are no narrow roads to go down.

Booked in for 2 weeks at the start of August, family visit every year as it is a good base for Kent and across the channel. The site is clean and staff is friendly. There are a lot of kids running around from the static caravans on site and if like we were you are pitched near the playing field you car and caravan can take a bit of a battering from balls but they are friendly and polite and move away when asked. The facilities are basic but clean and well maintained. The low electric current can cause some problems when cooking but you soon get used to what you can have on when.
We came home early due to the high winds and the fact that we were sustaining damage to our awning but we would not hesitate to return if we want to see that area again.
Overall a very good site if you want a quiet place and need no kids facilities. A great base.

We have used this as a stop off for the ferry three times now. Very quiet site within easy reach of the ferries, and on the right side of town, so it's only a few minutes drive, with little traffic.
We have three kids so prefer somewhere they can get out and play, as opposed to parking at the port or in town. Facilities are clean and tidy, if a bit old fashioned compared to some others.
