 Large campsite just 800 m from the town and sea front. Site is split into 3 terraces on side of the hill. Lowest level is the best with paved roadways and plenty of pitch room. Showers were by the far the best we have used in Europe. Toilet facilities immaculately clean, there is a laundry on site.
The site has a small bar and cafe area near the front gates, there is a swimming pool on the third level. The site houses quite a few long stay caravans with the annexed sheds as most Italian sites do, however these are well kept and do not detract from the site. Good wifi on site and its free.
Reception were very friendly and helpful and good speak very good English.
There is a further area for caravans & motorhomes which are classed as parking spaces, very tight pitches but prices at €13.
The town is lively, plenty of good shops and places to eat and drink. Although it was out of season when we visited the campsite was busy as was town.
The only drawback is site is next to railway line, trains thunder through but you really do not hear them after the first day or so.
Without a doubt a brilliant campsite and a stunning town, well worth the visit we will go again.
