I had a pleasant stay at this campsite, it was relatively secluded and very quiet in the week, however at the weekend it got quite busy - not unpleasantly so but still pretty full.

The facilities were fairly basic, port-loo's and no showers but this wasn't an issue for a short trip.

The pitch was a 30 second or less walk from the broads which was lovely there was also reasonably priced kayak and canoe hire available. We made use of the alter fires available around the site.

I understand there was a warden there were signs up with a mobile number which we called to check in on arrival but went to voicemail. As we didn't have any issues it wasn't a problem that we didn't see anyone. Perhaps if we had been more persistent someone would have picked up.

The car park was a 10 minute walk through the woods from the campsite however wheelbarrows were provided to transport things to and from however I wouldn't recommend taking a lot of equipment if staying here!
