 We used this campsite as it was the only one within 50 or so miles as we approached Genoa. Site is on the main road but its not too busy so not too much traffic noise.
The site is mainly seasons, plenty of pitches for tourers but none other than us there. You can walk onto the beach from the site through a system of locked gates, it wasn't a pleasant beach mainly broken concrete and fallen rubble. There was a cafe / bar on the beach but that seems to be closed down as there are massive gaps where the concrete has collapsed.
The whole site is enclosed with a very secure gated system which includes tags to get in and out. The gates would stop an army, not sure why such elaborate security systems as it was all very quiet and miles from anywhere. It all looks very sad and uncared for, probably once a great site but with the roads, hills and paths falling into the sea all over it seems there isnt any investment.
The lady on reception was brilliant, very friendly, helpful and spoke English. She offered to order in pizza for us the camp cafes were closed. Wifi on site something like €8 for 3 hours so we didn't bother.
As we didn't have ACSI we were charged €19 – its €15 with the card – to be honest the most expensive site we stayed on in a month touring Italy. If you need somewhere for an overnight its fine, but would not recommend as a holiday destination at all. Not much in the area unless you are heading into Genoa, ok if you need it for the ferries.
