 This aire is closed! Doesn't look like a temporary closure as all ehu have been removed.

Management response: Webmaster's note: We believe there were two aires at Mimizan Plage - the south one just behind the dunes may be closed, however the other one at Route du CEL is still open as far as we are aware |

Large aire just behind the sand dunes. All pitches are hard-standing with ehu. There was water fill /empty. The machine for filling charges but there are also several drinking water taps dotted around which are free. There is a chem disposal and there are toilets.
Entry is via a barrier from which you take a ticket, you pay with the saem ticket at an automated machine on exit. All worked smoothly and we used a debit card.
From the gate there is a steel pathway up onto the sand dunes and steps down the other side on to mile after mile of beach.
In the village, over the bridge on the road out side, there are several cafes and bars and quite a few shops, even out of season the aire was busy and many cafes were open on the Sunday.
We paid €8 with ehu.
