I'm not sure I want to post this review as I'm worried that if word gets out there will be no spaces available on this lovely site! I rang to book at short notice and wasn't asked to pay any deposit or anything.
It was £20 per night including electric for all of us. It's a Camping and Caravanning Club CL. We arrived a lot later than planned due to unforseen circumstances.
The owner was very accommodating and sent us a text giving us directions and telling us where the electric hook ups were and left us to it.
We arrived late and in the dark. We were glad we had headtorches as the site has no lighting. In the morning we discovered we were in the middle of a field with fields of horses all around as it is a livery stables.
There was one other unit camped in the far corner. There is a single toilet and a single shower in a block just down the drive towards the stables, a short walk away not actually within the camping field. I think the facilities were shared with the stables but we never had to queue.
Both well equipped and clean aside from the leaves that had blown into them, which couldn't be helped as it was extremely windy! There was a chemical toilet disposal point in the field, but we were unable to dispose of our grey water from the onboard tank. (our first motorhome outing so all a bit new to us!).
Site location great if you want peace and quiet but I don't think there was much within walking distance. I think there was a Co-op a short walk away(which we didn't visit) but not much else. We were visiting family so we just wanted somewhere to sleep really.
It's not dog friendly due to the horses however I enquired when booking and we were allowed to stay with the dog but she had to be on a lead at all times.
Great site we would stay again.

Visited Bruce's again for a couple of weeks this time. Bruce is just so laid back and a really friendly and interesting man. We were staying with my 12 yo daughter and 84 yo mother - both thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Facilities are pretty good and kept in a reasonable state, even though they are shared with the stables.
The new CDP is a bit of a struggle for us as we have a quite large caddy to dump grey/black waste and the drain doesn't cope well with large amounts of fluid at a time. Frankly I am being churlish as the rest of the site is wonderful.
Lincoln and the rest of the county is lovely - Woodhall Spa has one of the best bakery's and their pork pie is amazing (my mother took some home to Cyprus she liked it so much!). Steam Punk was again fascinating and weird in equal measure.
Will definitely return next year.

Cracking little site within 5 miles of Lincoln.
We stayed here in our new Winnebago at the August Bank Holiday for 3 nights.
Arrival was pretty painless although with nobody to greet us we pretty much were left to our own devices. When we spoke to Bruce, the owner, has was as laid back as you can be and just confirmed that we could set up on whichever pitch we wanted. He was away at the time and told us to put the money in an envelope - incredibly trusting.
The site has pretty good facilities with a very reasonable toilet and shower; although it wasn't cleaned whilst we were there, everyone who used it treated the facilities with respect.
We are definitely planning to return.
Lincoln is a lovely city and has some incredible history; make sure you visit the Castle and Cathedral and if you like a decent ale, the Strugglers is a MUST!
