This was our first visit to this great site, we were guided to it by it's marvellous reviews both on here and other sites, it won't be out last though.
We opted for the largest fully serviced pitch and it was huge, we could have placed 2 of our caravans along the rear hedge and had space for about 4 or 5 tents in front. 12 Amps electrics along with a fresh water tap with push-on fitting plus grey water disposal saved dragging the aquaroll around, (nobody seams to bother with a wastemaster in france anyway). Our pitch benefited from the shade of 2 oak trees as we tended to spend most of out time outdoors. I took my porch awning but didn't bother taking it out of the bag, the sun awning was the order of the day along with my compressor fridge as the caravan's own absorbsion type really struggled in the 30C plus heat. I believe domestic fridges can be hired on site though.
This is the best run campsite we have ever stayed at, the owners, their family and staff cannot do enough to help you have a trouble free and enjoyable stay, nothing is too much trouble and all with a friendly smile. The roadways are thoughtfully laid out so that after a few pitches either way the path curves or there is a hedge or tree to block your view and it gives the feel of a little community instead of regimented rows of pitches. Plenty of entertainment on site, join in if you wish but they don't push it.
Toilet/shower blocks are unisex and dotted around the site, they are always spotlessly clean and with toilet paper, (some sites don't bother), although for some reason not all the toilets have seats?? there are both hand and dishwashing facilities with constant hot water, again spotless.
First class locally baked bread and pastries are available without pre-ordering between 8-10. 30 every morning including Sunday and the little shop stocks all the essentials. The bar has a cracking but pokey Belgian beer on tap along with cocktails and Heineken lager. They also have a good selection of ices so a good place to sit and chill overlooking the pools.
The nationality mix when we were there was predominatly Dutch, then French and Brits, no problem if you're French wasn't very good, most spoke very good English but it's good to try the basics at least.
With temperatures around 30C most days and with clear skies at night we managed to sleep well so this far down France was far enough for us, it was in the mid 40s farther south.
Dave.

Just returned from a 12 night stay here beginning of August, 2 adults, 8 and 3 yr old in a folding camper.
Lovely campsite, our pitch was massive, easily enough for our set up, 5x5m, car parked next to us (but not too close)and still enough space for the kids to run around and play football, all surrounded on 3 sides by mature hedgerow!
Regis and Aline were wonderful, very helpful and pleasant, Aline in particular helped us book a hotel for our return with my very basic mastery of the French language!
All staff members were very helpful and happy and always patient if we were trying to converse with them in the native tongue!
Campsite has planned activities but they are not in your face, join in if you wish, no pressure. Night time activities are pretty low key but suited us fine, this also helps keep the sound levels almost to none after 11pm.
Located within easy reach of local villages, 2 massive supermarkets, Lac Juanay and numerous beaches this was ideal for us to explore.
Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a relaxed base from which to explore the surrounding area although if you're after a raucous night life you may be best looking further afield.

We have just returned from a great week at this site. There were two adults and three children aged 2, 11 and 13. The weather was beautiful and the local area nice. We stayed in a mobile home but as we usually camp we had a good nosy round the camping area and were very impressed. The pitches were huge and flat with hedges either side. The toilets were clean although didn't have toilet seats. There was a nice park and good swimming pools. The toddler liked the little splash zone. We enjoyed aquafit and Zumba and on the last night all had a reasonably priced cocktail. The older kids did the inflatable giant ball football one night. The site was silent at night. We have so far stayed in about 15 campsites in France and we all rated this as our favourite. There was a good mix of French, dutch and English families.

We stayed on this campsite for one week with a three year old and 6 month old.
The site has a fair amount of pitches but whilst we stayed in Mid-July, they didn't seem to be over crowded.
We were one of a very small amount of English people on the camp site but this really doesn't matter. This was our first trip to France and knew only the basics of French like please and thank you. Most guests and staff had a great comprehension of English which helped us settle in just fine.
The shower and toilet facilities are plentiful and always clean.
The pitches vary in size but there are a mixture of sun-filled and shaded areas. The pitches are not uniform and seldom bordered with large hedges but the occasional tree helps with hanging a washing line. We preferred this style as it enabled us to socialise with our neighbours which helped.
The campsite is a 20 minute drive to the cost which is fine for most, however you pass plenty of other campsites on the way so if your dream holiday is to be right next to the beach, you can get closer! A huge Super you supermarket can also be found around 15 minutes away which is great for topping up on supplies. They seem to stock everything you'd ever need, camping or otherwise.
My only reservation which is not strictly the campsites fault is their policy on swimwear. I wasn't aware before I left for France that swimming shorts are frowned upon and speedo style trunks are the only acceptable form of clothing. Everywhere else we visited did not enforce this policy and I was able to relax however this campsite is fairly strict on this. I did not swim with my family for two days as I couldn't find anything to fit me. Eventually the owners made an exception and I was able to enjoy my holiday in my own longer swimming shorts
