We were just passing this Campsite late teatime & decided to just call on the off chance of staying the night.

We were welcomed by Simon who couldn't have been more helpful.

There was a large area on the grass field where he allowed us to choose our own spot.

A Very flat excellent site with fantastic 360degree views. He was also very relaxed about our time of leaving which was so nice of him.

Toilets, Hot showers all clean & really well kept.

Only £23 for the night we think is brilliant value.

Will be returning in the future.

This site can be muddy in the winter.

It is always open and welcoming.

The toilets and showers and clothes washing facilities are clean and all set in a heavy duty tent like structure.

We use this site a lot and the kites flying over head and the alpacas and old fashioned breeds of sheep are an added bonus

Needs some tlc. toilets not cleaned in the 3 days we were there

Dogs running loose on site

No meet and greet.

Shame as it could be a top site, it's in a good location with lots of wild life

We come here regularly and love the peace and tranquillity of the site.

There are alpacas, ancient breed of sheep in the field next door and Kites overhead.

The toilet facilities are in a big mobile unit. It’s toilet compartments are small and showers spacious and all very clean.

Site is level and there is a code on the gate for security which is emailed to you just before you arrive.

This was a lovely site, with a very friendly, welcoming and helpful owner.

A number of families camped together at times, but everyone was quiet after 11.

It was quite expensive, but we appreciated the plumbed-in water at the pitch.

The only downside was the toilet and shower facilities. With so many users, these needed to be cleaned on a regular basis, preferably daily.

Making our way back up north, so needed stopover from Southhampton.

Nice automated entrance off narrow road.

Had choice of pitch, which had tap, drain and EHU. Only found tap after owner saw me trundling round with waterhog, and told me it was on pitch!

He was informative about site and area, especially the Red Kites doing a great display in the evening.

Loos/showers in huge tunnel tent, nearby washing up area, and a small covered wooden structure ? for what. The loos were clean and efficient.

There is a pub down the road that we walked to with dogs. Only 3 pumps choice, looked like it had been gutted and new pine furniture installed. If they were going for the shabby chic look, it didn't work.

Only stayed for 1 pint.

The facilities were clean and tidy. The alpacas were cool

A very well kept and friendly site. Excellent for families.

First day I had my wife, adult daughter and two dogs with me. Lovely quiet site and easy to find a level space without blocks.

Second night was just me and it was great to sit and chill and watch the alpacas, soay sheep and Pygmy goats.

I didn’t need to use hookup, showers, toilets or washing up sinks as I am fairly self sufficient. I did make use of drinking water, rubbish disposal and elsan point though.

I found everything clean and tidy and it is just a great site if you don’t want clubs, pools etc.

Simon came over to introduce himself and make sure we knew where everything is. I will definitely use again if I am in the area.

We use this site on a regular basis when we visit my husband’s mother in a nearby care home.

It’s easy to find, good access, booking online is easy and we are always greeted when we arrive.

The site is grass, flat, electric and water on most plots with fire pits to rent

The toilets and showers are in Port’a cabins in one big tent structure. They are clean and washing machine and tumble dryer are also inside there.

The next field has alpacas and soay sheep in and kites fly regularly overhead.

We always enjoy our stays on this quiet caravan and camping club site

In the right circumstances this can be a lovely site. It’s a nice flat grass field with views on three sides, walks nearby (if you don’t mind hills) and a pub within walking distance.

There are several pitches with electric, water and waste, so they could be described as ‘full service’, but weren’t, so I didn’t bring the necessary hoses.

Unfortunately when we stayed we were plagued by noise. The owners decided to cut the grass on our first evening, after everyone had returned from their day’s activities.

Then, as the weekend approached several large groups arrived, some with children who took advantage of the spacious surroundings. At other times there was construction noise from the adjoining land. Then on Sunday the local authority decided to re-surface the road!
