 Lovely peaceful small site in rural surroundings next to a working farm. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and are on site if you need help with anything.
Pitches are located on a large grassy area and are very spacious.
The facilities are housed in the barn and consist of one ladies and one gent toilet and a single shower. Although dated all areas were immaculately clean and the shower was powerful with plenty of hot water.
The site is a few mins drive to the nearby village where there is a bakery and about 15 mins drive to St Hilaire for a supermarket. We loved the peace and tranquility on site and enjoyed watching and listening to the abundant bird life in the immediate area.
Walking and cycling from the site is limited to local roads rather than paths/trails but there are fantastic long distance cycle/hiking routes that can be accessed within a few mins drive.
We enjoyed our brief stay and would particularly recommend this site for those who like to stay put and relax or don’t mind having to use a vehicle for practicalities and getting out and about.
The site offers great value for money at €18 per night including electricity.

Bel and kev are wonderful hosts; friendly and on hand if problems arise.
The site is a perfect rural retreat with an abundance of wildlife.
It has shower, toilets dishwashing and laundry facilities.
The local village, supplies essential needs.
A wonderful location for anyone seeking a complete wind-down.

This was our first visit and we would certainly come back again.
On arrival we had a warm and friendly greeting by Bel and Kev and later checked that where we had pitched, everything was ok. We had a lovely relaxing time in a beautiful area with just the sounds of nature.
Ideally you need a car to explore the area more or if you need to shop, for us it was all about a restful couple of days in a lovely location.

Stayed here for 3 days at the end of our holiday, it was a very peaceful site, cannot fault the facilities, watching the swallows and other birds was a joy, owls, hares, it was lovely. The cows were very quiet but sometimes smelly, but it is on a working farm so to be expected sometimes. A real little treasure of a site to relax and unwind. Looking forward to returning next year to stay a while longer. You wont go wrong staying here if you are looking for peace and quiet and to unwind.

Very quiet and secluded site. Too many flies, too many mole-hills, (French for moles = les taupinieres!) and a shower curtain that clings to your legs when you’re showering! Yuk! But at least it was clean and well-maintained. You’ll also need a European adaptor for the EHU points.
