We have visited the site 3 times now and have found this little haven of peace and tranquillity exceptional.
The site is ideally located close to York and its minutes away from the City's park and ride service which makes it unbeatable as a base to visit this Historic city.
The Owners have created facilities which are second to none, with toilets, showers washing and waste facilities that are so well appointed. The site field is well managed, drained and the EHU's well spaced whilst the ability to set out BBQ's for those evening meals out and very good. The location is well placed to visit some of the best known North Yorks attractions too at Pickering, Goathland, and Whitby which are not so far away.
The cost per night is very well pitched and great value for money and if your looking for some real quality local food, the farm can supply excellent local meat.
All in All a real little gem of a site tucked away and so easy to find and if your a golfer or an angler. The site is located very close to some excellent courses, lakes and rivers for those days when the other half wants to do some quiet sight seeing.
All in All. A brilliant find and can be totally recommended.
We will certainly be back

What a lovely site to stay on, Kim and Graham are very welcoming to everybody. The field is very well kept, there is a shower and toilet block on the field with another just opposite the house. There is lovely pork and apple sausage ( tried and loved) pork sausages, bacon, burgers and eggs all to purchase from the farm.
The short walk to the village is where you can get the bus into york which runs about every 15 mins, there is also a small tesco, boots pharmacy, Chinese takeaway and pub. We visited Malton whilst staying which was a 15 minute drive. We would certainly like to visit this site again and at £10 a night including electric Kim and Graham offer a very pleasant place to enjoy a relaxing break.
There is a fab communal fire pit and barbecue/pizza oven to use too !

We stayed on this site with our caravan in August. We favour smaller sites and could not have wanted anything better. The grass was well tended and we were able to level our caravan without resorting to any ramps (pitch 2). Facilities were well labelled and the toilet clean and soap provided. Some means of drying hands would have been appreciated - but not a problem for us. We did not use the shower but expect that, as a new electric unit, it would be fine.
Graham and Kim were very welcoming and generous. They were happy to chat and were very knowledgeable about the local area and attractions.
Please note that Google street view and satellite map are very dated and do not do justice to the hard work the owners have done in the past couple of years to the whole farm and the site.

What a lovely place to go and stay. The communal fire pit is great. The village of Strensall is just a pleasant stroll down the road with Chinese takeaway. A tesco express and a lovely pub that serves good food. We will definitely be visiting this place again. And the couple that own the place could not of been nicer or more helpful ! Regards Lord scratcher and Lady Jayne
