Great site situated behind Glynn abbey golf which allows you to use clubhouse for food and drink, showers and toilets

We stayed for easy access to ffos las racetrack on 10 minutes walk away

We stayed for a few nights to play golf and enjoy the hospitality & excellent food in the clubhouse. There had been a period of heavy rain which didn't help the presentation of the site, which was very muddy in parts. It looked as if the grass between the hard standings hadn't been cut for weeks and the ground was quite uneven. The hardstandings had become a bit overgrown with sparse grass & weeds, beneath which there appeared to be a thin layer of stone over what looked to be builder's rubble which was rock hard. We discussed the state of the site with the owner who put the muddy conditions down to black soil over clay which didn't drain well. That's fine, but the golf course was well drained and in good condition, the course & hospitality from the clubhouse staff are really good. Customer service rating reflects this aspect of our visit.
