It was a really good site although once the pub was shut the ladies toilet was a really run down cabin no shower facilities. The pub was really pleasant and the staff were helpful. The playground was a tree with three rope swings on it there was a local shop maybe half a mile away but was closed by the time I had pitched there was a tesco express about 4 miles away. But other than that we had a good weekend

Well what can I say, what a marvellous find this place is, if you want peace and quiet then this is the place to go. Although the lane leading upto the site is very very narrow and we did initially struggle with our van we eventually got there, only to discover that my husband had left the caravan keys at home, fortunately we only live in Dudley and so my son kindly bought them to us which cost us a meal in the adjacent put which I can honestly say was delicious and well worth the money. We also had a meal on the Saturday night and I can honestly say that the vegetarian curry was the best one I have ever had. Very friendly place would definitely use again.

We have fallen in love with this place. The site is by the river so be careful with children. It is a small field between the river and the duckpond. There are wildfowl and peacocks wandering around, the peacocks are noisy at dawn though. It costs £5 per unit per night. The gents toilet and washbasin are quite simple but adequate, but in 2014 we have all shared the gents as the ladies had flood damage. There are usually only 2 or 3 tents there so it didn't matter. The pub is old and quaint, a Bathams pub with live folk music on the 1st friday of each month. There is a lovely riverside garden. There are lovely riverside walks as well as some lovely lakes 5mins walk away. There are no nearby roads. It really feels old fashioned and peaceful. It doesn't have showers.
