This is a lovely site, really well laid out, well maintained and very well run by a friendly, helpful team.
I will definitely use again when in the area.

Booked a week here. Need to drive through easy country lanes to arrive at site, substantial and serviceable gravel drive to drive to field. Nice flat camping field directly served by newish wood construction toilet and washing up block - couple of washing up sinks, 6? toilets (if I recall correctly), two showers (these are possibly insufficient in number). More toilets were available a short walk away. Also two outdoor solar showers (which I didn't see anyone use). The field is nice and level (mallet is needed for pegs in dry conditions!). The site benefits hugely from lovely on site shop and café - they cook pizza to order in an outdoor oven on some nights - these are there to serve the lovely open walled gardens which campers have the use of. Morton's famous tea rooms are about 100 yards from the site, and there is a short walk to a ford which which children like to play in (no playground on site though) and to Moreton church - which regardless of your faith is worth a visit - gorgeous building. The nearest 'proper' shop is a local Co-op a short car drive away. So why have I not given it a higher rating? Well all these great good points are marred in one serious area - they host weddings and parties! Said weddings and parties are responsible for huge amounts of noise. For the first 3 nights we were there we had 'party noise' and on one night this run until the small hours of the morning. The camp site hosts visited an offered apologies the following day for that one and promised everyone money back. Despite following up by email mine never appeared. If you stayed here and no parties were being run it would be great and would be a 100% camp site for me - no road noise at all, decent facilities etc. But I found the considerable noise from the parties unacceptable, and from what I heard so did the other campers that week. For this reason only I will not return to this camp site - I am OK with the noise of children or even a camp club house until say 11pm, but late night parties and someone else's disco until far later did not do it for me.
